Matthew Greenslade is a home inspector living in Durham, NC with his trusty hound. He grew up in the Triangle and spent years in construction giving him a thorough understanding of the quirks of Southern homes. His interest and experience in building began in high school when he started working at a construction company over the summers. He continued that work into college, and after graduating did freelance renovations and handyman projects in addition to his work as a bookkeeper, musician and teacher. Before becoming a certified home inspector he already had experience in plumbing, sheetrock, framing, roofing, finish and more.  Using his knowledge, curiosity and teaching experience his mission is to give current and future homeowners a full and complete picture of their homes and its systems as well as the tools and information they need to maintain their homes as long as possible while saving time, money and stress.
